Honoring the work and legacy of

Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.

About Us

Our History

Two generations meet: Jon Michael Franklin and Henry Ford.  Both African American; one an eighth grader,  the other a senior citizen.  Through Jon's efforts  the local schools close their schools on MLK Day and  because of Henry, we have a march and ceremony and the beginnings of future projects to advance the teachings of Dr. King.

Get Involved

Help with and participate in the annual  march and ceremony on MLK Day.  Help with projects that advance the teachings of Dr. King through the calendar year.
